Somewhere, overwhelm got framed as a personal failure — like if you were stronger, more organized, or more faithful, you’d be able to handle everything on your plate. But the truth is simpler and kinder: You’re carrying too much for too long without relief.
Many women are holding:
●Emotional labor no one sees
●Responsibility without support
●Spiritual expectations without rest
●Family needs without pause
And when the body finally says “enough,” the mind turns inward with blame. Your Heavenly Father knows that is a weary heart.
Before you try harder, pause. Before you fix anything, breathe. Relief is not a reward for finishing the list–it is a prerequisite for moving forward.
If you need a place to start carrying less — without pressure or performance — you’re not alone. Here is a letter I wrote for you.
